The New Media Lab of CNTI, which coordinates the CyberEthics project, is not only very much interested in but is also conducting research on the issues of Safer Internet. Research in this field is very limited across Europe but is minimal in Cyprus. Thus, our research team has began conducting a series of surveys to identify the level of Internet usage in Cyprus, the level and perception of risks faced by children and teenagers when using the Internet, the perception of parents and educators regarding the dangers of the Internet and various other themes in this area.

In order for us to be able to progress on our research and find appropriate strategies that will help youngsters get the most out of their use of the Internet with minimal risks as also parents and teachers to be able to help and protect their children and /or students, your participation in our studies is required.
