About the Helpline
The Safer Internet Helpline was launched in 2009 and it was coordinated by the Pancyprian Coordinating Committee for the Protection and Welfare of Children (PCCPWC) until December 2014 within the framework of the EC co-funded CyberEthics projects. Since January 2015, the CyberEthics Helpline is coordinated by the Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute (CNTI) operating under the EC - Connecting Europe Facility - grant. The Helpline offers you the opportunity to answer questions and to express your concerns or queries about harmful conduct, malicious communication and harmful content on the Internet. The Helpline provides psychological and technical support. The Helpline Counsellors are trained professionals with an educational background in Social Sciences.

- Other potentially harmful content

- Unsolicited contact from strangers
The Helpline is an active member of the Insafe Network. The Insafe is a European network of Awareness Centres and Helplines promoting safe and responsible use of the Internet and mobile devices to young people. The Helpline participates in various European training meetings and educational activities organized by Insafe representing Cyprus.
